Mike Young was born in Australia 1957 at Box Hill Hospital Melbourne. Has been an entertainer for 30 years starting his humble beginnings at the Ritz hotel.

His first break came when he became one of the first entertainers to appear at the only Casino in Australia at the time "Wrest Point Casino" Hobart Tasmania.

On returning to Melbourne he had regular spots on many TV shows. Mike was a regular on the Sydney Club circuit,Cruise Ships,the Gold Coast, Western Australia,Adelaide and worked in several Theatre Restaurants in Melbourne including Shuftys,Rembrandts and finaly his own venue Banjo's in 1982 .

In 1992 Mike sold out to the Melbourne Blues Appreciation society and moved to Merimbula N.S.W to persue a rural life of growing oysters and the odd tour of entertaining.
